I originally bought the previous revision (USB micro) of this a few years ago, it recently broke and I was able to buy this new version. This one definitely fixes a lot of the design flaws of the USB micro version. The USB C port is much more stable on the board and having a reset button is also a nice feature to have.
The cart reader works flawlessly. The controls can feel clunky at first but that feeling quickly goes away. Just make sure that if you use an adapter for NES or other systems to pay attention to the orientation marked on the adapter.
The build quality is super high on this ROM dumper and I'm very happy with my purchase. I think the walnut board on it looks great and I've been real happy being able to back up my games.
FDSKEY is a cool device. It plugged right in and let me easily switch between disk based titles. Only issue is that i have graphic glitching issues, which is somewhat of a known issue and require some soldering to fix: https://consolemods.org/wiki/NES:Famicom_Disk_System_Glitching_Sprites_Fix
